About Me
My name is Benjamin Jude. I am a Roman Catholic
worship leader and resident music minister at
Queen of All Saints Life Teen in Saint Louis, Missouri.
I grew up in Mesa, Arizona and moved to Saint Louis with my family when I was around 10 years old. There I became involved with Incarnate Word Life Teen and began to play, write and record music as a self-taught guitarist and pianist around the age of 14. The first song I ever recorded on my own was the Advent classic "O Come, O Come Emmanuel", and it sounded absolutely atrocious.
When I was 17, I started an alternative rock group called Helio. We wrote, recorded and released a song called "To Write Love", which became popular around the world as an anti-self-harm anthem.
At 23, a good friend and local worship leader Adam Bitter invited me to play in his worship band. Before long I was asked to take on the role of Music Minister at the young, up-and-coming Life Teen program at Queen of All Saints Church, where I continue to lead on a weekly basis.
The Holy Spirit is moving in this place.
You can listen to my first release, a live acoustic album called "the Light EP", on iTunes and Spotify. My first full-length album is called "The Fire In Me" and is available for download, stream and purchase on 16. June 2016. You can preview track two, "Kingdom (Like a Child)", here. I am really excited about this album, and I truly hope it moves you.
Please pray for me, as I pray daily for you.
